We have a project under way in the Clayton, NC- Several positions are open & ready to be filled. Primary inspection focus will be on tubing and piping so AWS B31.1, B31.3 & API 570 certifications are especially relevant.

Skills:
Video borescope weld inspection on stainless steel tube systems in a pharmaceutical facility.
Review piping installation to isometric drawings.
Review weld documentation.
Inspect hangers and supports to detail drawings.
Verify slope / pitch of piping systems to isometric drawings.
Inspect piping systems for conformance to isometric drawings.
National certifications include:
- AWS CWI
- ACCP Level 2 (VT, RT, UT, ET, MT)
- ASNT Level 2 (VT, RT, UT, ET, MT)
- API 570 Piping Inspector
While National certifications are highly preferable, company certifications such as the following will also be considered:
- SNT-TC-1A
- NDT Inspector
- Quality Inspector
- Level 2
- NDT Technician
- Welding Inspector
The following lists the various NDT Methods in order of relevance to our line of work:
VT- Visual Testing
RT- Radiography
UT- Ultrasonics
ET- Eddy current
MT- Mag particle
