As a senior pipeline integrity technician, you will be responsible for conducting direct examinations on interstate pipelines using various NDT and corrosion inspection methods. Daily tasks can include corrosion mapping, ultrasonic thickness testing, magnetic particle testing, pipe to soils, soil resistivity, GPS, shearwave and straightbeam ultrasound, phased array ultrasound, and automated ultrasonics. The ability to lead and manage projects independently and work directly with engineers, inspectors and project managers is critical to the success of this position.

We are looking for loyal confident individuals who are career oriented. This position requires impeccable communication skills, solid understanding and working knowledge of abnormal operating conditions and pipeline safety, excellent computer skills and a high attention to detail.

You will be required to perform bellhole examinations of existing pipeline coatings and condition, document coating anomalies, perform testing pertaining to Cathodic Protection of pipelines, perform visual inspections of pipeline, measure and document metal loss type defects, perform MT evaluations, evaluate and document linear indications, conduct integrity calculations, and document and validate repairs. Complete and detailed documentation and reporting are as equally important as the inspection itself.

Skills:
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 Years experience in Non-Destructive Testing
• 2 Years experience in Pipeline Integrity Bellhole Examinations
• Magnetic Particle (MT) Level 2 certification and documented training hours
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2 certification and documented training hours
• Ability to withstand the physical demands of the job
• Ability to pass a thorough background screening and drug test
• Valid Driver’s License
• Legal US Resident
• Heavy Travel
• Expert level MS WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK skills – Must be able to create reports from scratch and navigate and edit extremely complex reports in EXCEL
• RStreng or KAPA Analysis and Calculation
• Solid and stable work history

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION:
• CIP NACE Certification
• Creaform Laser Scanner
• Working knowledge of Pipecheck data acquisition/analysis software
• PAUT Level 2 Certification or Classroom and OJT hours necessary to test for certification
• CWI
• Clockspring Certification
• Associates Degree in NDE
• Experience working with Automated UT Systems
• TOFD
• Eddy Current
• Guided Wave Analysis
• Laser Mapping Equipment
• Working knowledge of alignment sheets, engineering drawings, GPS systems
• Operator Qualifications through Industrial Training Services, Veriforce and ISNetworld
