ALS acquires Maverick Testing Laboratories

ALS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Maverick Testing Laboratories, Inc. and Mav-Tech, Inc. (Maverick). Maverick operates from laboratories in Houston and Corpus Christi, Texas and employs approximately forty people.
Maverick provides materials engineering, welder qualification and mechanical testing services predominantly to the downstream oil & gas and petrochemical industries in the Gulf Coast of the USA. The business will form part of ALS Industrial which provides diagnostic testing and engineering solutions to industrial clients.
The acquisition represents service line expansion of the ALS Industrial business in North America. Operating since 2010, Maverick has established an outstanding reputation for high quality, quick turnaround services and a deep knowledge of "all things welding" specifically in the fields of materials engineering and mechanical testing. ALS and Maverick share a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality technical services, technical leadership and long term partnerships with clients.
The business will continue to be managed by Maverick President Scott Witkowski.
