DJI, the world’s leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, will make Los Angeles the center of the American drone industry for three days from September 24-26 with its industry-leading AirWorks commercial drone conference. With worldwide commercial drone use expected to surpass $9.5 billion by 2028, drone technology is used every day by leading organizations to enhance operations, promote worker safety, to protect the public and to help save lives.

AirWorks 2019 will showcase the latest developments in commercial drone technology from companies and organizations like the American Petroleum Institute, Corteva Agriscience, DroneDeploy, FLIR Systems, Los Angeles Fire Department, Marathon Oil, Microsoft, and many more. In addition, attendees will learn:

How FedEx improves inspection efficiency with a fleet of 650 drones
How BNSF uses drones for industrial disaster response and recovery on North America’s largest freight railroad network
How Snohomish County Fire District and Arlington Police Department are integrating drones and K9 units
How researchers at Texas A&M use drones for advanced remote sensing and precision management for agriculture

"Today more than ever before drones are being used for mission critical tasks from industrial inspections, to improve crop management and yields, and for life-saving public safety operations," said Jan Gasparic, Director of Strategic Partnerships at DJI. "At AirWorks 2019 we will assemble the drone industry’s innovators and thought leaders to provide attendees with critical knowledge that will help them put drones to work in their businesses more effectively and efficiently, and give them a first look at the exciting future of DJI’s enterprise drone technology."

AirWorks 2019 is expected to draw over 700 attendees and will offer 60 educational workshops spanning five core industries including agriculture, construction, energy, infrastructure, and public safety. It is the premiere venue for exchanging ideas, learning about the latest developments in drone technology, and steering the future development of the industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from DJI executives and industry leaders through keynote and panel presentations, connect with an ecosystem of professionals and over 30 drone technology and service providers in the exhibit hall, and learn how they can put drones to work in their operations today.
