NDT Solutions to Highlight U.S. Coast Guard Training Partnership at A4A NDT Conference

Tulsa, Oklahoma — September 21–23, 2026 — NDT Solutions (NDTS) will participate in Airlines for America’s (A4A) Annual NDT Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, joining industry leaders and aviation NDT professionals focused on advancing aircraft inspection, reliability, and safety.
In partnership with NORDAM, NDTS will co-host the conference’s pre-conference facility tour and luncheon on Monday, September 21, at the NORDAM Repair Division in Tulsa. NORDAM is one of North America’s largest independently owned aerospace companies, providing manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to the global aviation industry.
As part of the conference program on Tuesday, NDTS will also share the story of its five-year Nondestructive Testing training partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard—a program designed to strengthen the technical capabilities of Coast Guard aviation personnel while directly supporting aircraft readiness and flight safety.
Under the program, NDTS conducts two intensive, three-week NDT training courses each year for U.S. Coast Guard aviation personnel. The courses are hosted in partnership with NORDAM at its Tulsa facilities, giving students the opportunity to move beyond the classroom and train within an active aerospace repair environment while gaining meaningful hands-on inspection experience.
Training provides a foundation in four primary NDT methods:
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Eddy Current Testing (ET)
• Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Instruction is aligned with the principles and requirements of Technical Order 33B-1-1, combining NDT theory with practical applications relevant to the inspection and maintenance of in-service aircraft.
Upon completion, Coast Guard personnel leave the program with a stronger understanding of each inspection method, practical experience applying NDT principles, and a greater appreciation for the critical role nondestructive testing plays in identifying potential defects before they affect aircraft availability or safety.
For NDTS, the program represents more than technical training. It reflects a long-term commitment to developing the people responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and mission readiness of the U.S. Coast Guard aviation fleet.
