10/05 - 6/06 Civil Inspector (Butier Engineering) Irvine Ranch Water District, Irvine, CA. Desalter Pipelines Project and Metropolitan Water District, Hemet, CA. Diamond Valley Lake Phase II Searle Parkway Improvement’s Project. Daily inspections, schedule testing, job file, track contractor’s progress, redline drawings and review / approve progress payments.

11/04 - 2/05 QA/QC Inspector (MARRS Services) San Diego County Water Authority QA/QC shop inspections for 66” and 81” diameter pipe components for relining of Pomerado Pipeline #4. Review radioscopic film and monitored entire fabrication process including materials, layout, rolling, fit-up, NDE, SAW/SMAW welding, belling, repairs and production.

9/04 - 10/04 QA/QC Inspector (Brinderson Constructors, Inc.) Chevron/Texaco El Segundo Refinery at El Segundo, CA. Monitored subcontractor for code compliance, and work progress during ISOMAX Continuous Catalytic Reformer CCR Upgrade Project, schedule NDE testing, during replacement of radiant coil assemblies, convection coils and burner replacements.

2/04 - 5/04 QC Boiler/ Weld Inspector (PMSI) Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Northeastern Station Unit #3 and DP&L’s J.M. Stuart Station Unit-4 as project QA/QC. Both are large coal-fired power plants to 750 megawatts. Weld inspections and “R” Stamp code documentation for NBIC A.I. acceptance.

11/03 - 2/04 QC Welding Inspector (Great Basin Inspection) Southern Nevada Water Authority system pipeline expansion Project SNWA-170A of 78” diameter piping.




9/03 - 10/03 QC Boiler/Weld Inspector (PMSI) Muskogee Unit #4 for economizer replacement, soot blower and boiler access modifications and associated work. “R” Stamp code documentation for NBIC A.I. acceptance. Muskogee plant has three coal units and one gas-fired unit with approximately 1700 megawatts of capacity.

3/03 - 5/03 QC Boiler/Weld Inspector (FHI Plant Services) So. CA Edison’s Mohave Generating Station’s Unit-1, 750 MW coal fired power boiler overhaul outage performing visual weld inspections of rear reheat assembly’s replacement and associated boiler areas.

5/02 - 3/03 Site Quality Engineer (CDI) Siemens Westinghouse Power Corp. OPPD Cass County Project, Plattsmouth, NE. Erection of two Westinghouse 501F simple cycle gas turbine generators. Self-performing SWPC construction project required performance of Site QA duties and additional daily QC duties performing weld inspections, qualify welders, schedule NDE vendors, and ECC documentation of construction erection and testing.

5/01 - 5/02 Site Quality Engineer (CDI) Siemens Westinghouse Power Corp. AECI-Holden Project, Holden, MO. Erection of 3 x 100 MW each, V84.2 simple cycle gas turbine generators. Self-performing SWPC construction project required performance of Site QE duties and additional daily QC duties performing weld inspections, welder qualifications, schedule NDE vendors, and ECC documentation of construction erection and testing.

6/00 - 4/01 Site Quality Engineer (CDI) Siemens Westinghouse Power Corp. Great River Energy’s Pleasant Valley Project near Rochester, MN. Erection of two V84.3A simple cycle gas turbine generators. Duties included implement Site QA Plan, monitor SWPC Field Action Requests, site audits, surveillances, monitoring contractor for compliance to QC manual, quality plans, inspections, testing, and project specifications.

5/00 QC Boiler/Weld Inspector (PMSI) Public Service Co. of Oklahoma Northeastern Station Unit-3 at Oologah, OK. Boiler overhaul outage at a 476 MW coal fired power plant. Rheat replacement, etc. Boiler “R” Stamp documentation for NBIC A.I. review and signoff.

11/98 - 4/00 Site Quality Engineer (PIC) Siemens Power Corp. (Fossil Division) Bridgeport Harbor Generator Station, Bridgeport, CT. Phase II erection of a combined cycle power generation plant consisting of two V84.3A gas turbines with heat recovery boilers providing steam for an additional steam turbine generator. Implement Site Quality Plan, site audits, surveillances, monitor subcontractors for QC manual compliance, inspection/testing for code and specification compliance. Supervised data and document ECC completion with extended assignment for supervision of detailed completion of construction and closeout of punch list and warranty activities.

10/96 - 4/97 Boiler/Powerblock QA/QC Coordinator (TAD Technical) Salt River Projects, Navajo Generating Station at Page, AZ. Visual inspection of fuel oil lines for Units 1, 2 and 3 replacement, preoutage preparations for overhaul outages of Units 1 and 3 of a 2280 MW capacity coal-fired power plant. Coordinated field inspection activities for site engineering staff. Supervised NDE vendor reviewed and verified test results. Assigned daily work to CWI’s and surface prep personnel, and supervised welder qualifications of full time and temporary welding personnel.

6/96 - 9/96 of their new corporate headquarters (25 story building) with the latest seismic design for beam to column moment connections. Supervised and provided technical support for NDE magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspections of mainframe weldments.

10/95 - 2/96 QC Inspector (Western Technologies) Navajo Generating Station Scrubber Project at Page, AZ. QC inspections for the primary construction contractors, which included Graver Tank, American Bridge, and H.B. Zachary. Primary components included a new chimney liners, flue gas ducts, absorber tanks & other systems at this 2280 MW capacity coal fired power plant.

7/95 - 10/95 QC Inspector/Shift Lead (Reinhart and Associates) Florida Power and Light’s Turkey Point & Port St. Lucie Nuclear Generating Plants refueling outages inspection / testing of turbine steam path components.


11/94 - 4/95 QC Boiler/Weld Inspector (Pace Power Constructors) Los Alamitos Generating Station at Los Alamitos, CA. Major overhaul of Unit 3 powerboiler. WPS review, welder qualifications. Verified base materials, filler wires, blueprints, vendor NDE techniques and results. Consisting of new furnace walls, S/H assemblies, economizer, roof tubes, S/H and R/H expansion loops, rear wall tubes, and other system repairs. Logged and supervised demolition repairs and interfaced with client QA representatives for project quality code compliance and acceptance of completed work for payment. “R” Stamp documentation for NBIC A.I. review/signoff.

8/94 - 10/94 QC Inspector (Virginia Corp) Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station at Forked River, NJ. Performed inspections on BOP, drywell and fuel loading deck for the Site QA/QC department.

Coordinate daily CWI / NDE vendor and surface prep crew, inspection/test results and documentation, support to site engineering.
