I have been involved in the construction/fabrication industry for many years, after graduating in 1983 with a diploma in Welding Engineering Technology, I have been engaged in Third Party Inspection, Fabrication Shop Management, QA/QC & Project Management to ISO 9002 standards and requirements including conjunctional inspections with certifying authorities, Boilers & Pressure Vessels Authorities, DNV and Lloyds of London Insurance.

I began my career with apprenticeship training of Pipefitter/Welder thru to supervision. My working experience has involved employment on construction of high rise buildings, oil refineries, tank farms, chemical plants, piping, modular and pressure vessel fabrication shops, gas plants (sweet and sour) and onshore/offshore pipelines and platforms.

After examination, I have been granted Welding Inspection Certification from the American Welding Society, (CWI), and the Canadian Welding Bureau, (Level II), American Petroleum Institute, API-570 Pressure Piping Inspector and API-653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspection. In addition to these qualifications and in support of my QA/QC activities I have also gained ANSI/RAB accredited ISO 9000 Lead Auditor Certification.

I have also had extensive involvement in the implementation of codes, i.e.: ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.1, ASME V.VII & IX, API 650/653/620/1104, CSA Z662 and AWS D1.1 as required by the varied projects.
.
