I was certified in Level II for UT Limited to thickness, MT,
PT, and OES- PMI,XRAY. Through Petrochem Inspections.

I received my training in Honolulu at the National Polytechnic
College of Science. I was trained in accordance with ASNT
Instruction SNT-TC-1A and I.S.O. 9712 to the degree of a
Level II in UT - Thickness and Shear Wave, MT - Magnetic
Particle, PT - Liquid Penetrant, VT - Visual.

My main responsibility was obtaining thickness readings in
all of the process units of the BP-Husky Refinery in Oregon,
Ohio. I use ISO drawings in order to locate our TML
(thickness monitoring location) points. I organize the work
for my co workers that consists of prioritizing, printing,
scheduling, and assigning the work for the week. I train
the new employees in using the equipment as well as how to
safely perform the job. Occasionally I do have to travel to
Sunoco Refinery to perform PMI (Positive Material
Identification) using the OES machine and do Magnetic
Particle Testing and Penetrant Testing. I also help annotate
the film for the Radiography crew. I was able to acquire
some field experience in the VT area as well as Shearwave, I
am certified to Level II in MT, PT, OES and Limited to
thickness in UT within the company. I used the following
codes: ASME Sections 1 and VIII, AWS D1.1, AWS 31.1and AWS
31.3
