PENETRANT LEVEL II INSPECTOR, QUEST AIRCRAFT, SANDPOINT,

Process and inspect high stressed components before they are
assembled, ensuring the safety of the plane and passengers.
Daily process controls, checking penetrant sensitivity,
making sure the developer is not contaminated and black
light strength.

Penetrant Testing Level II
Testing the highly stress components making sure they comply
too company and FAA standards.

Eddy Current Level I
Checking for cracks around rivets and other surfaces of the
plane.

Ultrasonic Thickness Testing
Checking the thickness of material when damage that has

Process and inspect parts for assembly in turbine jet
engines ensuring they will run properly. Daily process
controls, checking penetrants sensitivity, make sure

Penetrant Testing Level II
Processing jet engines parts thru penetrant line, and
inspecting parts to specifications.

Blue Etch
Check the strength of the acid, controlling the amount of
material taken off parts before inspecting and ensuring
quality control.

Visual Inspection
Check the parts making sure that all processes and
operations were followed to specification, then check for
damage.

Final Inspection
Check the planning to make sure that all operation were
stamp off, all the correct stamps were used, check that
there are no open D stamps, take corrective action to
rectify any problems.

Running x-ray machines, 320kv, 420kv, adjusting the time to
produce a quality radiography. Check the speeds of the film
processors and clean out jammed film when necessary
maintaining maintenance upkeep for smooth operation of film
processors. Examine the strength of developer, hardener and
flow rate of processors keeping the process within
parameters required.

Electropolishing
Electrochemical polishing processing that removes material
from metallic work pieces.

Controlling temperatures in kiln, taking brick samples out
of the kiln checking for carbon percentages in the brick,
checking the size of the bricks going into the kiln and
coming out of the kiln along with the weight of brick and
the height of the stacked brick. Rebuilding burners,
controlling the gas and air mix of each burner. Rebuilding
kiln when shut down.
