COMMUNICATION: REPORTS / TECHNOLOGY
Created, indexed and populated project files for pressure vessel, indirect heater coil, piping system and
structural and combined projects.
Checking of MTRs and related materials for correct thicknesses and identification markings.
Developed digital adobe PDF based project files which allowed for intuitive customer friendly packages
to for all project related information. Including all component, materials, NDT, weld procedure, and
welder ID and qualification information. This helped reduce on site and shop records from several large
binders to a single easy to copy CD.
Use of AutoCAD and solid works to resolve questions and create clear drawings for use by welders in
the shop and field.
Recorded and then incorporated weld ID, NDT and materials information directly into AutoCAD for later
review.
Checked, scanned and filed MTR using MetalTrace software.
Maintained certification logs for MPI and hydrotest equipment.
INSPECTION
Visual inspection of pressure vessels, process piping, flow line, and structural welding.
Supervised Hydrotests of both pressure vessels and process piping.
Review of NDT records and post weld heat treating charts to insure criteria had been met and correctly
recorded.
UT thickness testing and visual examination of pressure vessel components at time of delivery.
Checking of rod oven and electrode storage to insure conditions and temperatures are up to code.
