Currently performing 43 million dollar Coker revamp project including two new Coke Drums. Duties and responsibilities of position include responsible for insuring all federal operator qualification requirements have been met on the Winterfield storage facility. Oversee all aspects of safety, quality and production for pipe remediation project. Responsible for identifying, reporting and resolving AOCs (Abnormal Operating Conditions). Create and track a punch list for all contractors. Verify that all contract employees have received operator qualification training pertinent to their task.
Assignment included:
Verify proper WPS is in use and all welders have WPQ documentation.
Insure compliance of all DOT, OSHA, and local regulations.
Maintain custody and control of all project documents required by all codes and specifications to be retained until turned over to owner representative at job completion.
Perform QC inspection of all materials and consumables to be used on a project.
Maintain daily reports of all items and work inspected
Track the progress of the scheduled work and report to owner representative.

Lead QA/QC Coordinator, BP Refinery – Texas City, TX
Duties and responsibilities of position include responsibility for the management of the Quality Control aspects for the 2005 Ultracracker Turnaround.
Assignment included:
Ensuring that all of the contract welders of the various companies are in compliance with applicable codes.
Visually inspecting all work performed by various contractors upon completion of each job note.
Reviewing all documentation provided by the contractors upon completion to ensure proper tracking, code compliance, plant specification & contract compliance.
Perform final walk down of each Job Note with engineering & operations representative. Upon completion of walk down, final sign-off for each Job Note signed by myself, an operations representative & an engineering representative ensuring that all work was complete and performed properly.

Duties and responsibilities of position include maintain close relationship with turnaround supervision and planning department to set up job packages for upcoming plant wide turnaround.

Responsible for supervising as many as six inspector at one time.
BP Refinery – Texas City, TX (Jun 04 to Aug 04)
QC inspector. I was brought in with approximately 60% of the UU4 project complete to oversee the completion on the new chrome piping installation. Worked closely with Flour Daniel representatives to ensure proper completion and documentation of extensive NDE requirements.
Chevron Phillips Chemicals – Cedar Bayou, TX (Feb 04 to May 04)
Lead QC Inspector- Coordinated NBIC code welding repair plans with production personnel on various pressure vessel repairs. Performed weld inspections, coordinated NDE contractors, weld mapped and maintained weld log for NDE percentage.

Lead QC Inspector- set up hydrotest packages, coordinated NDE and stress relieving contractors. Coordinated repair plans with authorized inspectors for NBIC code welding work including nozzle installations, vessel alterations and miscellaneous repairs.
