Experience
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2007-2011: University Lecturer-Department of Chemical and Polymer Engineering,Lagos State University, Nigeria.

Achievements
• Characterized viscosities of heavy and blended heavy oils using u-tube, Engler, and 8-speed rotational viscometers
• Validated distribution of major structural classes (SARA components) of hydrocarbons in a typical Nigerians heavy oil using hydrocarbon group type analysis
• Formulated the best chemical combinations that yield optimum oil-water emulsion on solvent extracted and raw Nigerian heavy oil samples using 23 Yates’ factorial experimental design and analysis
• Evaluated rheological and flow behavior of Nigerian heavy and emulsified oil samples using 8-speed rotational viscometer
• Developed, designed, and fabricated a new laboratory scale pipeline system to evaluating the flow behavior, stability, and effect of each of the components on transported oil-water emulsion
• Evaluated phase inversion point of transported oil-water emulsions
• Validated the effect of oil-water emulsion properties on the stability of transported emulsified crude oil through pipe system
• Determined appropriate oil-water emulsion breaking technique to recover highest proportion of emulsified oil
• Supervised the projects of final year students

2005-2007: Graduate/Research Assistant-Petroleum and Petrochemical Laboratory,Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,Nigeria.

Achievements
• Carried out experiments on mineral matter content of heavy crude oil, water content of heavy crude oil, softening point, penetration point, pour point, etc
• Supervised laboratory and project works of the undergraduate students
