Director of Human Resources

Dear Director,

I am interested in long term employment with your company. I feel with my skills and diversified experience in Quality Assurance Inspections, I would be an asset to your organization in helping to deliver on-time quality products to your customers.

My resume reflects gaps in employment therefore I am attaching this letter to explain them. From July 1991-May 1993 my employment with Asea Brown Boveri was through a temporary contract agency and the contract ended. I moved back to Arizona and was employed through a temporary staffing agency performing NDT and mechanical inspections for companies in the Phoenix area from June 1993- March 1996.

My fifteen years experience in Aerospace Quality Assurance includes four years with Allied Signal/Honeywell Aerospace. I also have extensive radiographic film interpretation experience.

I made a career change in 2000 entering school full-time for Respiratory Therapy. My employment as a Respiratory Therapist was from May 2002 ¡V April 2009 which included over three years with the Veterans Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

My last job was a short-term contract and I am currently self-employed while seeking full-time, temp-to hire or long term contract career opportunities. My career as a Quality Assurance Inspector is where my heart is and what I enjoy doing most. My estimated hours as a NDT Level II or III are 4,820 PT, 3,160 MT, 5,320 RT and 800 UT respectively.

Respectfully Yours,

Russell S. Porter
