I was working as a nurse for four years, then I joined the United States Air Force as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician (occupational health and safety with a response element). After I completed my four years of Active duty, I went back to work as a nurse in NM. After a year, I realized that I was not content working as a nurse. I joined the 44th Fighter Group located on Holloman AFB, NM. and learned NDI (Nondestructive Inspection). Attending Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fl. For three months we studied PT, MT, UT, ET, and RT (x-ray tube heads only). Post graduation, I worked at Holloman AFB using all five methods to test T-38/F-22 components among other parts brought to our shop. Once I completed 11 months OJT, I went to work for AXIS inspection using Ir 192 on the pipeline. My wife and I are planning on moving back to Houston, TX. and I am currently seeking work in or around that area.
