Spoolbase Material Controller-Monitor, track, & document all bare pipe shipments and receipts. Compile Welder Qualification Documentation Packages and generate Welder Certifications. Track and Monitor all equipment calibration for Spoolbase and its contractors.

Certified Welding Inspector/QC Inspector-Monitor production and repair welds on Steel Catenary Risers and Flowline piping utilizing the Vermaat Technics Data Logger system. Ensure that each weld made meets the approved project welding procedure and all project specifications by checking fitup, temperature control, and visual inspection. Perform Welder Qualification Testing on different project welding procedures.

Quality Specialist-With the Umbilicals group my primary responsibity was Quality Surveillance. This included Vendor Source Inspections and Incoming Material Inspections. Along with being responsible for Quality Surveillance I was Lead QC for the Termination and FAT Departments. This was to ensure that all procedures, work instructions, & drawings for these processes were current and released as well as documenting lessons learned and nonconformances. I was a liaison for document control ensuring the data books were complete and accurate prior to release to the client for review. I performed NDE Testing and mechanical completion inspections as well to ensure all components met the documentation and drawing requirements prior to client release.

Quality Specialist/Assistant QC Supervisor-At Aker Drilling Risers my primary responsibility was coordinating the daily NDE and weld inspections. Not 3 months after starting I was promoted to Assistant QC Supervisor and became responsible for the daily operations of the contract QC Inspectors. I approved invoices for 3rd party NDE companies as well as approved time sheets for the contract inspectors.
