Insure all welder certs are current and applicable, verify all welding procedures are being followed and proper pre-heating if needed. Schedule x-ray ndt and verify certs, Record all valve SN# and heat numbers. Inspect condition and handling of pipe.
2011 VenTower – Monroe, Michigan
Weld and material Quality control- corrosion inspection salt tests, dimensional lay out ,visual weld inspection, UT shear wave ,MT ,PT ,Flange flatness evaluation, surface profile gauging and coatings dfts, and metalizing inspection dft, mechanical checks bolting assembly, torque, and striping checks. Inspect all Bus bar connections and or power cables are correctly installed and un-damaged. Final sign off.
