I have over 11 years of QA/QC Inspection and NDE experience. I am extremely well versed in piping and structural fabrication and inspection technique. I initially entered the quality assurance arena in 1990, which was the start of of my formal training and education, at Spartan School of Aeronautics. I graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Quality Control Technician with an overall GPA of 3.53. Over the course of his career, I have accumulated thousands of hours of training and many certifications in a wide variety of inspection environments. I have performed inspections utilizing various NDE methods at semiconductor facilities around the Phoenix, AZ area. I am currently in charge of the QA responsibilities at the fabrication shop where I am currently employed, which produces piping fabrications for semiconductor facilities throughout the southwest. I am highly trained in the organization and management of construction information to insure that all required documentation has been compiled, archived, and properly cross-referenced.
As a Quality Control Representative, I am responsible for the review and implementation of Quality Control procedures for the fabrication, installation, examination and testing requirements within the semi-conductor industry as well as other industries. I am familiar with various ASME and AWS codes and how they apply to the various tasks being performed.
Skills/ My special skills and certifications include: I.C.B.O. Special Inspector for Spray Applied Fire Proofing, AWS Certified Welding Inspector Lic. # 01041371. Visual Inspection Level II, Magnetic Particle Inspection Level II, Liquid Penetrant Level II, Ultrasonic Flaw Detection Level II (Thickness and Shearwave) and Radiographic Inspection Level II. All NDE certifications were performed in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A.
A sample list of my project experience includes:
Intel Fab22 in Chandler,AZ,
Intel Fab 12 in Chandler, AZ,
Intel Fab 23 in Colorado Springs, CO,
Motorola Mos 12 in Phoenix, AZ.
I have also been involved in many commercial and power plant contracts that required extensive use of his NDE and QA skills.
