I have contracted with several companies in the
nondestructive testing and quality control capacity for
over 6 years. These companies Include LMT, URS, ITLS, E
& I, Applus Velosi, Tricen, NIC and JDH Energy Solutions,
LLC. My primary experience has been in the nuclear power
generation and gas pipeline industry, though I have
worked in manufacturing plants, warehouses, sugar mills,
fossil power stations and in the field on power
distribution line structures. My responsibilities
included over site and quality control of various aspects
of gas pipeline projects, Exams/Inspections for FAC, MIC
and other UT thickness applications, snubber exams,
configuration and dimensional verification on safety
related supports, torqueing, CV liner sub-straight and
coatings inspections, weld pre-heats, fit ups, finals,
walk downs using isometric drawings and P & ID's, eddy
current, IWE/IWL, assisting in various PDI exams,
document review on section XI work packages, receipt
inspections, oversight for QA and procedural adherence,
liquid penetrant and magnetic particle exams.

Over the previous 27 years prior to focusing on a career
in the inspection industry, I have worked for and/or
owned and operated several of my own businesses including
custom furniture manufacturing and finishing, pressure
cleaning, painting and surface sealing, pattern making,
welding and fiberglass work for a local sailboat
manufacturer, Project manager for a high end custom home
builder, mortgage broker, and online investigative
services.
