Weatherization Crew Laborer
Travel to each assigned weatherization client’s residence
and perform minor carpentry skills necessary to carry out
and complete all needed energy conservation measures as
instructed by the Weatherization Crew Foreman. Maintain
close working relationship with Weatherization Crew
Foreman. Observe safety procedures to ensure safe working
environment and attend required safety training. Assist
Crew Foreman in maintaining agency vehicles and
equipment.
Where appropriate assist with the unloading, organization
and distribution of weatherization materials. Assist in
the use of the blower door testing on each client home,
as instructed. Assist in ensuring that all infiltration
reduction measures will be guided by the blower door and
meet SIR requirements. Clean up and remove construction
debris from each job site and dispose of properly to
maintain professional work environment. Attend staff and
agency meetings and training sessions as deemed
necessary. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
