• MAT-V Underbody Improvement Kit upgrade team. Required to work on 8 different stations, which consisted of drilling, cutting and grinding, seat upgrades, replacing shocks and springs, and installing new cab mounts and new, heavier armor. Over 500 trucks were safely and successfully completed in accordance with Oshkosh and Government standards.
• Maintained, Diagnosed and Repaired Equipment on all International Maxx Pro and Caiman Mine Resistant Armored Protected (MRAP) Vehicles.
• Performed Quality Control Checks of Repairs and Services (QA/QC) being performed on MRAP Variants.
• Worked as a Universal Workforce Technician with Navistar Defense in Afghanistan performing upgrades on the Maxx Pro Dash ISS (Independent Suspension System).
• The ISS upgrade consists of 15 retrofits and the complete independent suspension system changeover.
• The 15 retrofits also consists of battery box improvements, fan clutch improvements, AC/condenser fans upgrade, V-hull drain improvements, installation of new LED style headlights, installation of the turbo sleeve, and installation of the Sway Bar end links.
