Duties:
Calibrating the OmniScan. Create setup files for different transducers, wedges plate thicknesses and weld sizes. Calibrate the wedge delay, sensitivity and create a TCG for each individual group to provide adequate coverage of weld volume, crown, root and heat affected zones. Scan longitudinal and circumferential welds using a Jireh STIX manual scanner. Complete data analysis either onboard the OmniScan or using OmniPC. Perform magnetic particle inspections on pipeline plate surfaces and welds. Perform liquid penetrant inspections on parts as needed by clients. Visually inspect all welds and plate prior to performing inspections.

Direct assessment of pipelines using MT, UT and VT; 
Perform existing coating assessment; 
Taking CP Readings (Soil Resistivity, Pipe to soil), soil 
samples; Corrosion and mechanical damage mapping using a digital pit gauge and Creaform HandyScan 3D laser scanner; ILI verification, SCC investigation; KAPA Calculation; Utilizing UT thickness, shear wave and Phased Array inspections for crack detection and sizing; Manage projects and handle situations directly with the client; Ensure operational safety of all job-relevant equipment;
