Responsibilities:

-To undertake QC functions in the workplace for daily QC activities.
-Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials like Pipes, Fittings, Flanges & Welding Consumables.
-Performing Incoming material inspection, verifying vendor’s material certificates in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.
-To prepare the required inspection notifications to inform the client about the required inspections.
-Witness of welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
-Verify that all applicable equipment is calibrated has valid certification.
-Monitoring the welder performance and ensuring that the welding parameters are as per approved procedure and that the welding machines / instruments are calibrated,
-Checking of pipe spool fabrication based on approved isometric drawing & bill of materials.
-Carrying out the Welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification.
-To advise on all aspects of quality to company personnel, informing them of any non-conformances and any concerns that may affect the company compliance and customer expectations.
-To check the Proper Electrodes are used for the Respective Materials and the temperature has been maintained as per the Electrode Manual.
-To co-ordinate with the site radiography crew and need to maintain the necessary arrangements for them at the site for performing the work
-Carrying out inspections using various NDT methods and reporting findings in a professional manner
-To check Radiographic Film of Classification, Radiographic sensitivity, type of IQI, Subject and Film Contrast type of Exposure
-Test Package Preparation and Review.

-To inspect on, vendors for BHEL Manufacturing pressure parts & non pressure parts, structural, ducts columns, water wall penal and Furnace tubes.
