JOB DUTIES
• Lead OSBL piping inspection program by performing external inspections, making repair recommendations, and ensuring repairs are performed in accordance with applicable code and guidelines. Also by streamlining inspection schedules to improve efficiency while maintaining 100% coverage. Drafting for piperack segmentals and mentoring new inspectors in 570 inspection. Develop the DART piperack segmental inspection grid for Shell Deer Park and provide man hour estimates and condition estimates. Manage equipment assets for access and coordinate fellow API’s on critical path inspections and finds.
• Perform visual inspections on pressure vessels, piping, relief valves, and CUI projects and report findings and do follow up evaluations for repairs.
• Perform Unit coverage for CC&G, HYDRO, PAU3, DISPATCHING OPS, and DISTILLING
• Participate in CR3/ACU T/A by performing internal and external inspections for reactors, furnaces, piping, and columns primarily inspecting internal liners, refractory, bolt-ups and welds.
